Regional Councils

Regional Councils are core groups of University ambassadors formed in eight key regions to help the University build a stronger base of support and a more visible presence in the areas of the country and world that are strategically important. Currently Regional Councils have been formed in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington DC.

As alumni and friends who are well-informed about the University, Council members provide leadership in fundraising, support student recruitment efforts, mobilize a career network, and organize student immersion programs. Typically, Regional Councils meet 3-4 times a year and members are asked to make the University one of their top philanthropic priorities.

For additional information, please contact Karen Spear, Associate Vice President, at ksspear@syr.edu.
